Sales Director

Zavaski began his insurance career in 1976 with Metropolitan Life after graduating from Nichols College in Massachusetts.  He moved through the ranks and achieved New England Sales Office of the Year in 1984 after taking over a poor performing sales operation in Meriden, CT.

While with Met Life he held the position of Field Training Consultant which involved training and mentoring district managers, sales manager, and newly appointed sales reps.  Sales techniques, management concepts, agents licensing, and sales interviews with clientele were presented, developed and implemented.

In the fall of 1993 Zavaski began his career with Nationwide Insurance as a Community Agent based in Durham, CT.  He took a scratch operation and built it into a successful sales organization.  Achieving Nationwide’s prestigious President’s Conference award level of accomplishment.

Mr. Zavaski has always believed in community and civic involvement is currently engaged in organizations such as the Mid State Chamber of Commerce while also serving as the Board of Director for HUBCAP, an organization that assists startup businesses at the grassroots level.
